Pescado Verde shrimp ceviche is flavorful and so healthy.

Pescado Verde Shrimp Ceviche

Ceviche is a Latin American seafood dish that combines fish with fresh citrus and vegetables. It create a flavorful bright dish that is served chilled. We added our incredibly flavorful Pescado Verde seasoning. It added notes of Serrano chilis, Mexican oregano, orange, and lime. Very simple to put together and tastes amazing.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb small shrimp fresh or frozen cooked
  • 1/4 cup orange juice fresh squeezed
  • 1/3 cup lime juice fresh squeezed
  • 1/4 cup red onion small diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced or grated
  • 1 jalapeño seeded and small diced
  • 1 medium tomato small diced
  • 1 Tbs pescado verde seasoning
  • 1 avocado small diced
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Crackers or tortilla chips for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl combine shrimp, orange juice, lime juice, red onion, garlic, jalapeño, tomato, and Pescado Verde. Stir to combine and let marinate in the fridge for 10-12 minutes or up to an hour.
  • Just before serving, stir in avocado and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
